제 21회 삼성전자 휴먼테크 논문대상 동상 수상/ 화학과 나노무기연구실

삼성전자가 주최하고 미래창조과학부·중앙일보가 후원하는 이번 ‘21회 삼성전자 휴먼테크 논문 대상’에서 국민대학교 화학과 나노무기연구실(지도교수 윤성호)의 윤예슬(석사) 학생이 동상을 수상하였다. 수상 논문을 통해 자연계에 많이 존재하는 RuBisCO효소의 regulation site를 모사하여 마그네슘이온으로 흡수제의 구조를 안정화시켰고, 향상된 흡수능과 흡수에너지, 손쉬운 탈착반응을 확인하여 이산화탄소 흡수제에 대한 새로운 개념을 제안하였다. 이 연구로 온실효과의 주 원인 중 하나인 이산화탄소의 대기 중 농도를 감소시켜 환경적으로 이로울 뿐만 아니라 경제적인 가치도 있다는 점을 인정받아 수상의 영광을 안게 되었다. |
휴먼테크 논문대상은 국내외 대학(원)생과 고교생을 대상으로 과학기술 분야 우수인력을 조기에 발굴·육성하고자 1994년에 제정되었다. 이번 21회 시상식은 11일 서울 서초동 삼성전자 사옥에서 열렸으며 윤예슬학생은 삼성전자 휴먼테크 부상으로 상금 500만원과 함께 삼성전자의 입사특전을 부여받게 된다.
