패션주얼리타운 남상원 작가展 / 테크노디자인대학원 금속·주얼리전공 03, 박사과정 08 동문

◇…패션주얼리전문타운(대구 중구)은 컴퓨터(CAD·CAM)를 활용한 주얼리작품을 선보이는 남상원 작가 초대전을 열고 있다.
남 작가는 국민대 금속공예학과 석사와 박사를 졸업하고 개인전, 단체전 등을 통해 활동 중이다. 이번 전시에서 남 작가는 3D캐드를 활용해 수작업으로 제작하기 힘든 세밀한 디자인이 돋보이는 펜던트, 반지, 브로치 등 20여점을 보여준다.
전시작들은 은을 주재료로 사용해 만든 일정한 형태에서 벗어난 비정형적 작품들이며 작가 특유의 섬세하고 감성적 디자인이 돋보인다. 소재에 구애받지 않고 다양한 재료를 선택함으로써 더 재미있고 실용성이 살아있는 작품들도 있다. 20일까지.
