덤벙분청의 담백한 멋…박성욱展 / (공예미술학과 98 동문)

한국 고유의 서정미와 세련미를 갖춘 덤벙분청 작품을 만들어온 도예가 박성욱의 개인전이 청도 갤러리청담에서 펼쳐지고 있다.
오는 11월1일까지 이어지는 이번 전시에서는 그가 즐겨 만드는 덤벙분청의 담백한 멋을 보여주는 작품들을 다양하게 보여준다. 분청도편을 이용한 도벽작업과 달항아리, 조형적인 오브제, 차주전자와 차구, 생활자기 등이 소개된다.
덤벙분청은 조선시대 분청사기 제작기법 중 가장 늦은 시기인 16세기대에 성행하다가 소멸된 기법이다. 백토물에 그릇을 덤벙 담가 하얀 분을 입히는 데서 덤벙분청이란 이름이 유래됐다.
박 도예가는 국민대와 동대학원에서 도자공예를 전공하고 2006년 토야테이블웨어 공모전에서 대상을 받았다. 지난 4월 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국공예·디자인문화진흥원이 주관해 이탈리아 밀라노 트리엔날레 디자인 전시관에서 열린 ‘한국공예의 법고창신 2015’ 전시에 초대작가로 참여했다.
