전국대학생 HVAC 경진대회 대상(산업통상자원부 장관상) 수상 / 물먹는 공대생팀

2015년 11월 27일 산업통상자원부가 후원하고 대한설비공학회가 주관한 제3회 전국 대학생 HVAC경진대회에서 국민대학교 이충섭(대학원 기계공학과 14), 변시예(대학원 기계공학과 15), 백계영(공과대학 기계시스템공학부 10)으로 구성된 물먹는 공대생팀 (지도교수 강병하)이 출품한 “제습매체가 회전하지 않는 제습기“가 대상을 수상하며 산업통상자원부 장관상도 함께 수상하였다. 또한 국민대 강지수(대학원 기계공학과 14), 심연호(대학원 기계공학과 14), 강련호(공과대학 기계시스템공학부 10)으로 구성된 KDI (Kookmin Desiccant Innovation) 팀(지도교수 장영수)은 “제습제를 적용한 동결건조기 연구”로 동상을 수상하였다.
전국 대학생 HVAC경진대회는 에너지, 환경문제에 대한 대학생들의 관심을 유도하고, 창의적 인재 양성을 목적으로 매년 개최되고 있다. 이번 대회에서는 “에너지, 환경 문제를 해결할 수 있는 HVAC&R(Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) 기술”에 대한 전국 대학생들의 창의적인 아이디어 50 개팀이 출품되어, 창의성, 실용성, 완성도에 대하여 1차 예비심사와 2차 본심사 평가를 통해 수상팀이 결정되었다.
