김성배 교수 한국공법학회 신진학술상 수상 / (법학부)

국민대학교 법과대학 법학부 김성배 교수가 지난 2015년 12월 18일에 열린 한국공법학회 총회에서 행정법분야 신진학술상을 수상했다.
한국공법학회 신진학술상은 공법학분야의 학술연구를 진흥하기 위해서 제정된 상으로서 종래에는 만45세 이하의 공법분야의 학자 중 그 동안의 학문업적을 기준으로 헌법분야와 행정 분야로 나누어서 수상자를 결정했으나, 최근 학자 층이 두터워짐에 따라 50세 이하의 학자 중에서 수상자를 선정했다. 현재 한국공법학회 신진학술상은 학문적 업적을 기준으로 한국공법학회가 수여하는 유일한 상으로 남아 있다.
한국공법학회는 1956년 7월부터 한국법학원의 산하단체로서 현민 유진오 박사를 초대 회장으로 발족하여 활동하였으나, 1960년대에 그 활동이 부진하여 공법연구자들이 가칭 공법연구회라는 모임을 만들어 월례발표회를 가져오다 1970년 5월 15일 회칙을 만들어 시행 함으로써 독립적인 학회로서 재출발했다. 그 동안 정기적인 학술발표회 개최와 학회지 발간 등 내실있는 활동을 통해 우리나라 공법학의 대표적인 전국규모의 학회로 성장 하였으며, 1999년 10월 9일 사단법인 한국공법학회 창립총회에서 학회의 구성원과 조직을 그대로 유지하면서 그 법적 지위를 사단법인으로 구성하기로 의결하고 정관을 채택하여 1999년 12월 6일 국회 사무처를 주무관청으로 법인설립허가를 신청하여 2000년 3월 15일 승인을 받았다.
