美 일리노이대 '올해의 동문상' / 유지수 총장

미국 일리노이대 한국총동문회는 유지수 국민대학교 총장(경영학 석·박사)이 '올해의 동문상'을 수상했다고 10일 밝혔다.
동문회는 지난 8일 서울 한강대로 KCC IT타워에서 신년회를 열고 정·재계 및 교육계 주요 인사 등 200여명의 동문이 참석한 가운데 '올해의 동문상'을 수여하고, 경품 추첨 행사와 음대 공연 등 다양한 네트워킹 행사도 실시했다.
미국 중서부 일리노이 주에 위치한 일리노이대는 20명 이상의 노벨상과 20명 이상의 퓰리처 수상자를 배출한 미국 최우수 주립대 중 하나다. 주캠퍼스인 어바나-샴페인을 비롯해 스프링필드, 시카고 등 3개 지역에 캠퍼스를 갖고 있다.
