'마르퀴즈 후즈 후' 인명사전 등재 / 김상철(컴퓨터공학부) 교수

국민대학교 컴퓨터공학부 김상철 교수가 세계 3대 인명사전 중 하나인 "마르퀴즈 후즈 후(Marquis Who's Who in the World)" 2016년판(33rd Edition)에 등재되었다.
김상철 교수는 지난 수년간 네트워크 분야의 세계적 SCI 권위지인 IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IET Electronics Letters, Journal of Elsevier Computer Communications, Journal of Communications and Networks에 주저자 및 단독저자로 다수의 논문을 발표하였다.
김상철 교수의 연구 분야는 이동 컴퓨팅 네트워크의 효율적 자원 할당이며, 이동 컴퓨팅 네트워크를 수학적으로 정립하고, 성능을 분석하는 연구를 하고 있다. 이러한 연구 결과가 이번 '마르퀴즈 후즈 후' 인명 사전 등재로 국제 사회에서 학문적으로 인정받았다.
미국 인명정보기관(ABI), 영국 캠브리지 국제인명센터(IBC)와 함께 세계 3대 인명사전인 '마르퀴즈 후즈 후'는 1899년에 첫 발간 후, 100년 이상의 역사를 가지고 있으며, 세계 각국의 정치, 경제, 사회, 예술, 의학, 과학 분야의 저명 인사와 탁월한 지도자를 선정해 그 업적과 이력을 소개하고 있다.
