제36회 서울발레콩쿨 대상(문화체육관광부 장관상) 수상 / 공연예술학부 무용전공

사단법인 한국발레협회가 주최한 제 36회 [2016 서울발레콩쿨]에서 국민대학교 예술대학 공연예술학부 무용전공 2학년에 재학 중인 이우진(15학번) 학생이 'Grand pas Classic' solo variation으로 전체 대상(문화체육관광부 장관상)을 수상했다. 이를 비롯하여 대학부 클래식 여자 부문에서 1학년 김영경(16학번) 학생이 금상을 수상하였다.
이번 [2016 서울발레콩쿨]에는 한국예술종합학교, 세종대학교, 한양대학교, 한국체육대학교 등 501명이 참가하였다. 우수한 참가자들과 경합, 예선을 거쳐 본선에서 뛰어난 테크닉과 표현력을 발휘, 심사위원들의 극찬을 받으며 전체 대상(문화체육관광부 장관상), 금상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다. 전체 대상(문화체육관광부 장관상)을 수상한 이우진 학생은 장학증서와 상금 200만원을 받게 된다.
2학년 이우진 학생과 1학년 김영경 학생은 지난 4월 8일 PERIDANCE CAPEZIO CENTER에서 주최한 국제오디션에서 특별장학생으로 선정된 바 있다.
