'제3회 공군아이디어미술공모전' 우수상(참모총장상) 수상 / 서준영(국사학과 13)

국민대학교 문과대학 국사학과 서준영 학생이 군복무 중 제3회 공군아이디어미술공모전에 Team S.O.S라는 팀으로 참가해 우수상(참모총장상)을 수상했다.
Team S.O.S는 GPS 수신이 불가한 조난상황에서, GPS Chip을 탑재한 구조 신호탄 발사를 통해 시각, 청각, 통신 3가지 정보를 휴대폰 앱에 제공하는 'Rescue Bomb'이라는 구호용품에 대한 아이디어 제안했다.
창조국방·창조경제 실현 기반을 조성하기 위해 실시한 공군아이디어미술공모전에는 전국 초·중·고등학생 2600여명과(학생부문) 공군 장병(병사 및 단기복무 간부) 280여팀이(장병부문) 참여해 톡톡 튀는 아이디어를 출품했으며, 학생부문 108명과 장병부문 20팀의 작품이 우수작으로 선정돼 대상, 최우수상, 우수상, 장려상을 각각 수상했다.
이번 공모전 수상작품은 미래창조과학부가 주최하고 한국과학창의재단이 주관하는 제20회 대한민국과학창의축전 프로그램과 연계해 4일부터 7일까지 4일간 코엑스 전시장 B홀에 전시된다. 또 6일 코엑스 동측광장에서 열리는 축전 행사 중 하나로 학생들을 위해 마련된 ‘사이언스 페스타’에서 공군 군악대와 의장대 공연을 선보일 예정이다.
