정준호 전 안국약품 사장, 크리스탈생명과학 신임 대표로 내정 / 법학과 73 동문

정 대표 "2021년까지 제약업계 '톱10' 도약할 것"
크리스탈생명과학(옛 비티오생명제약)은 31일 정준호(61·사진) 전 안국약품 대표를 내정했다.
정 대표는 국민대 법대를 졸업하고 지난 1979년 유한양행에 입사하면서 제약업계에 발을 들였다. 이후 2008년까지 LG생명과학에서 영업과 마케팅을 담당한 뒤 2009년 안국약품으로 자리를 옮겼다.
안국약품에서 마케팅 총괄 임원을 거쳐 영업·마케팅 총괄본부장, 부사장을 거쳐 올해 1월 사장으로 승진했다. 안국약품 재직 당시 세계 최초 테오브로민 성분의 기침억제제 ‘애니코프’의 성공적인 발매를 이끌기도 했다.
크리스탈생명과학은 2000년 설립한 크리스탈 지노믹스의 자회사다. 크리스탈지노믹스는 지난해 말 비티오생명제약을 인수한 뒤 사명을 크리스탈생명과학으로 교체했다. 이 회사는 국내 바이오벤처 기업 신약 1호인 골관절염 치료제 ‘아셀렉스’를 생산하고 있다.
정 대표는 “모회사인 크리스탈지노믹스의 인프라를 바탕으로 종합병원 중심으로 영업을 강화할 것”이라며 “2021년까지 제약업계의 ‘톱10’으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 강조했다.
