'Marzee Graduate Prize 2016' 수상 / 대학원 금속공예학과 동문

1978년에 설립된 네덜란드 네이메헨의 ‘갤러리 Marzee’는 현대장신구의 세계적 지명도를 가진 대표적인 갤러리로서, 1986년부터 ‘The Marzee International Graduate Show’를 개최해 세계 유명 미술대학의 우수졸업생들의 졸업작품들을 소개하고, 젊은 작가들의 국제적 데뷔 무대로서 의미가 크다.
올해 30주년이 된 이 행사는 ‘갤러리 Marzee’ 전시 일정의 하이라이트이며, 국제적인 규모의 유일한 젊은 작가들의 데뷔 행사로 성장 중이다. 올해는 특히 역대 최대의 전 세계의 40여 곳의 유명미술대학에서 선정된 100여명의 엄선된 장신구 작품들이 전시되었다.
2016년 Marzee International Graduate Show에 국민대학교 일반대학원 금속공예학과 이슬기(‘13), 이수빈(’13), 임종석(‘13), 박예님(’12)의 작품이 초대되었으며, 참가작가들 중 10명을 선정하는 Marzee Graduate Prize를 임종석, 박예님 동문이 수상하였다.
전시는 갤러리 Marzee에서 8월 21일 일요일 오후 4시에 전시 오프닝을 시작으로 10월 29일까지 진행되었다.
