大法 6기 양형위원장에 정성진 前 법무부 장관 / 前 국민대 총장

대법원은 25일 정성진(77·사진) 전 법무부 장관을 27일 출범하는 제6기 양형위원장으로 내정하고 13명의 양형위 구성을 마쳤다. 정 신임 위원장은 2007년 9월부터 2008년 2월까지 제59대 법무부 장관을 지냈고 대구지검장, 대검 중수부장, 국민대 총장을 역임했다.
대법원은 또 최완주(59) 서울고법원장, 서태환(53) 서울고법 부장판사, 천대엽(53) 서울고법 부장판사, 한명관(58) 법무법인 바른 변호사, 곽정민(40) 대한변협 제2법제이사, 원혜욱(55) 인하대 법학전문대학원 교수, 이주원(52) 고려대 법학전문대학원 교수, 이선재(59) KBS 보도본부장을 양형위 신임 위원으로 위촉했다. 박정화(52) 서울고법 부장판사, 오세인(52) 광주고검장, 김해수(57) 대검 공판송무부장, 차병직(58) 법무법인 한결 변호사는 연임됐다. 임기는 2년이다.
