‘전자음악 퓨전’ 틀을 깬 전통악기 / 박수아(교육대학원 음악교육전공 16)

마음을 노래하는 해금 연주자 박수아가 오는 24일 오후 8시 인천종합문화예술회관 소공연장에서 독주회를 연다.
박수아는 국립 국악중과 국악고를 졸업하고 한국예술종합학교 전통예술원 예술사(학사) 및 전문사(석사)를 졸업한 재원이다. 현재 국민대 음악교육대학원에 재학 중이며 연주와 교육 활동도 활발히 하고 있다.
인천과 서울 등 수도권을 중심으로 활동하고 있다. 이번 독주회는 네 번째로 인천에서는 두 번째다.
독주회는 ‘Sound of Mind’라는 타이틀로 위촉 초연곡이 대부분이다. 해금과 마림바가 함께 하는 ‘들길(김경중 작곡)’로 시작해 해금과 가야금 2중주인 ‘수아(粹娥 ·박경훈 작곡)’, 인천을 노래하는 ‘Soul in Michuholl(wonwoori 작곡)’, 저음해금과 피아노가 함께하는 ‘얼어붙은 가지(양미지 작곡)’, 피아노, 해금, 노래가 어우러지는 ‘마음의 소리(박한규 작곡)’가 연주된다.
특히 이번 공연에서는 전자음악과 함께 뇌파를 사용해 소리를 합성하는 뇌파음악 ‘Mind Wave(wonwoori 작곡)도 연주된다.
해금으로 이례적인 시도인 만큼 주목할 만하다.
