식품영양학과 오세욱 교수 식품안전의날 대통령표창 수상

5월 14일 식품안전의 날 기념식에서 우리대학 식품영양학과 오세욱교수가 대통령표창을 받았다.
오세욱 교수는 식품안전 분야에서 뛰어난 연구업적과 한국식품위생안전성학회, 한국식품과학회 등 식품안전 관련 학회활동을 통하여 국가 식품안전 정책수립에 기여한 공로로 수상하였다.
식중독세균의 검출 및 저해에 대한 다양한 연구를 활발히 수행하고 있으며, 특히 분유에서 검출되어 사회적으로 큰 이슈화되었던 식중독균인 사카자키균에 대한 연구를 통하여 검출배지를 개발하기도 하였다.
개발된 검출배지는 미국특허에 등록되었으며 현재 우리나라 식품공전의 미생물시험법에 공인배지로 등재되는 성과를 이루기도 하였다.
