구자안(57) 코레일 강원본부장은 “절대 안전체계 확립,고객에게 사랑받는 최상의 서비스 제공,소통과 상생의 노사문화 정립,강릉선 신수요 창출 등을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”며 “지역사회의 발전을 위해 사회적 책임을 다하는 공기업으로 거듭나겠다”고 말했다.
구 본부장은 전남 신안 출신으로 국립철도고,국민대 토목공학과,한양대 대학원(공학석사)을 졸업하고,충남대 대학원(공학박사)을 수료했다.지난 1982년 순천지방철도청에 입사한 후 코레일 역사개발처장,민자철도사업처장,토목시설처장,선로관리처장,시설계획처장,시설기술단장 등을 역임했다. 남진천
