이탈리아 국제 장신구 공모전 '2018 Gioielli in Fermento' 수상 / 정령재(금속공예학과 11) 동문

3D프린팅 작업을 하는 정령재 동문(일반대학원 금속공예학과 11)이 이탈리아 국제 장신구 공모전인 ‘2018 지오이엘라 페르멘토 Gioielli in Fermento’에서 영예의 1등상인 Gioielli in Fermento 2018; Allied Award 2018을 수상하였다. 2011년부터 매년 ‘와인’을 주제로 이탈리아 피아첸차에서 개최되는 지오이엘라 페르멘토는 기술의 숙련도, 문화의 발전, 재료에 대한 새로운 시도 등을 기준으로 심사하여 3명의 수상자를 선정한다. 지난 5월 13일 이탈리아 피아젠차 Villa Braghieri Albesani에서 시상식이 있었으며, 선정된 작품은 이탈리아 Piacenza Castel San Giovanni와 Oratorio di San Rocco, 라트비아 Putti art gallery, 스페인 Joya art jewellery&objects fair 등에 소개될 예정이다.
정령재 동문은 2016년 금속공예학과 일반대학원 졸업 후 3D프린팅기술과 공예기술의 결합에 의한 가구 및 장신구 작업을 해오고 있으며, 현재 신당창작아케이드 9기 입주작가로 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있다. 또한 2015 JOYA 바르셀로나 예술장신구 박람회 Alchimia Award 및 2018 New Taipei City International Metal Craft Competition 수상과 미국의 대표적 아트페어인 2016 SOFA: Sculpture Objects Functional Art and Design에 국내 대표작가 7인 중 한 명으로 참여하는 등 국제적인 활동을 활발히 이어가고 있다.
