국민대학교 금속공예학과 한은지 동문(학부 10학번, 대학원 16학번)이 네덜란드 'Marzee Graduate Show 2019'에서 'Marzee Graduate Prize'을 수상했다.
1978년에 설립된 네덜란드 네이메헨의 ‘갤러리 Marzee’는 현대장신구의 세계적 지명도를 가진 대표적인 갤러리로서 1986년부터 ‘The Marzee International Graduate Show’를 개최해 세계 유명 미술대학의 우수졸업생들의 졸업작품들을 소개하고 있다. 젊은 작가들의 국제적 데뷔 무대로서 의미가 큰 행사로, 국민대학교 금속공예학과는 2007년부터 매년 초대되어 2~5명의 졸업작품들을 본 행사에 소개하여 국제적인 경쟁력을 증명하고 있다.
33회를 맞이한 올해의 행사에 국민대학교 일반대학원 금속공예학과 이재현(15학번), 한은지(16학번)의 작품이 초대되었으며, 올해는 한은지 동문을 포함한 세계 각지 12명의 젊은 작가들이 'Marzee Graduate Prize'를 수상하였다. 수상 혜택으로 'Marzee for Starters Project'에 참가하여 최소 3년동안 다양하고 적극적인 국제 활동을 지원 받는다.
수상작 전시는 8월 18일 일요일 오후 4시에 전시 오프닝을 시작으로 10월 30일까지 네덜란드 네이메헨 갤러리 'Marzee'에서 열릴 예정이다.
