'2019 암호분석경진대회' 장려상, '2019 한국정보보호학회 충청지부 학술논문발표회' 우수논문상 수상 / 이지우(대학원 금융정보보안학과 석사 18)

지난 5월 ‘2019 암호분석경진대회’에서 국민대 한동국 교수(정보보안암호수학과 및 금융정보보안학과) SICADA(Side Channel Analysis Design Academy) 연구실의 이지우(금융정보보안학과 석사과정 18학번) 학생이 장려상을 수상하였다.
암호분석경진대회는 암호 분야에서 우수 연구 인력 배출과 연구성을 창출하기 위해 국방부에서 주관한 경진대회로 고등학생부터 일반인까지 모두 참여가 가능하다. 이번 ‘2019 암호분석경진대회’는 암호퍼즐, 암호구현 및 최적화, 디지털 서명, 압축함수 충돌쌍 찾기, 부채널 분석으로 총 5가지 분야로 나뉘어 출제되었다.
또한, 본 대회의 5번 부채널 분석 문제 풀이를 기반으로 작성된 ‘소프트웨어 구현 비공개 대칭키 암호 전력 정보 기반 암호 해독’ 논문이 대전 한남대학교에서 개최된 ‘2019 한국정보보호학회 충청지부 학술논문발표회’에서 학회 우수논문상을 수상하였다.
한국정보보호학회 충청지부 학술논문발표회는 매년 충청지부에서 개최되는 학회로 암호 이론, IoT 보안, 부채널분석, 디지털 포렌식 등 정보보호 관련 연구 결과를 공유하는 자리이다.
한편, SICADA 연구실은 스마트디바이스 안전성 분석을 하는 곳으로 주로 부채널 취약성 및 안전한 대응 방법을 연구한다.
