‘제3회 한국제도경제학술상’ 논문부문 대상 수상 / 이상학(국제통상학과) 교수

우리 대학 국제통상학과 이상학 교수가 제3회 한국제도경제학술상에서 논문 부문 대상을 수상했다.
이상학 교수는 2011~2019년에 한국제도·경제학회 학술지인 「제도와 경제」에 12편의 독창적인 실증적·이론적·제도적 논문들을 게재함으로써 학회의 발전에 헌신했다. 또한, 창의적인 정치적 지니계수를 개발하여 우리나라 선거구 획정의 불평등성을 ‘실증적’으로 분석하고 이로 인한 정책의 왜곡 가능성을 제시하였고, 민주주의 양당제 하에서 일어나는 여러 정책 편향성들을 ‘이론적’으로 분석했다.
나아가 면세점 사업의 제도 개선과 경제통합의 연구개발 효과를 ‘제도적’ 측면에서 분석했다. 학술상 관계자는 “실사구시적 관점에서 우리 사회의 정치·경제문제를 엄밀하게 분석함으로써 우리나라 ‘정치경제학’과 ‘제도경제학’의 발전에 기여하였기에 이 상을 수여한다”고 밝혔다.
