제9회 UAUS 건축연합축제 대상 수상 / 건축학부 학생들

2020년에 개최된 제9회 UAUS 건축연합축제에 출품한 국민대학교 건축학부 학생들의 'Growing Forest'가 대상을 수상하였다. 국민대학교 학생들은 '자연을 존중하는 건축, HABI-TECTURE'이라는 주제에 맞추어 덩굴이 공간을 만들며 성장해나갈 수 있도록 선형의 길을 제공해줌으로써 새로운 숲을 만드는 전시물을 제작하였다. 사람들은 그 안에서 잠시 머물면서 자연이 만드는 다양한 공간을 경험할 수 있다.
제9회 UAUS 건축연합축제는 코로나19로 인하여 온라인 전시로 진행하고 있으며, 국민대학교 학생들의 전시작품은 국민대학교 민주광장에 실물로 전시하고 있다.
UAUS 전통에 따라 국민대학교 건축학부 학생들은 2021년 제10회 UAUS 건축연합축제 기획단을 맡는다. (----) 학생들이 기획하게 될 건축연합축제를 기대해봐도 좋을 것 같다.
