2020 한국디지털포렌식학회 동계 학술대회 학회장상 수상 / 일반대학원 금융정보보안학과 학생들

지난 11월 20일, 한국디지털포렌식학회, 경찰청, 한국저작권보호원과 한국형사정책연구원이 공동주최한 2020 한국디지털포렌식학회 동계 학술대회가 개최되었다. 이날 진행된 학술대회에서는 디지털 포렌식 기술에 관한 2개의 세션과 디지털 포렌식 제도에 관한 세션이 진행되었다.
다양한 논문들이 발표된 가운데 국민대학교 일반대학원 금융정보보안학과 DF&C (Digital Forensic & Cryptanalysis) 연구실(지도교수: 김종성)의 강수진, 신수민, 김소람, 김기윤 학생이 ‘디지털 포렌식 관점에서의 샤오미 스마트 홈 아티팩트 분석’을 주제로 논문을 발표하고 한국디지털포렌식학회 학회장상을 수상했다. 해당 논문은 샤오미 스마트 홈 IoT기기가 수집한 데이터를 분석하고, 디지털 포렌식 관점에서 의미 있는 데이터를 선별하여 실제 수사에 활용할 수 있도록 활용방안을 제시함으로써 논문의 우수성을 인정받았다.
한편 김종성 교수가 이끄는 DF&C 연구실은 디지털 포렌식과 암호해독에 관한 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 매년 다양한 공모전과 학술대회에 참여하여 우수한 성적을 받고 있다(Lab. Homepage: dfnc.kookmin.ac.kr).
