국가정보원장 표창장 수상 / 한동국(정보보호암호수학과) 교수

우리 대학 정보보호암호수학과 한동국 교수가 국가정보원장 표창장을 받았다. 한 교수는 2009년부터 국민대학교 교수로 재직하며 정보보호 분야의 전문인력양성과 다양한 정보보안기술 연구 및 개발을 통해 정보보호 분야 발전에 크게 공헌했다. 한국정보보호학회 이사, ICISC 국제학회 프로그램 위원장, 운영위원장 등을 역임하며 활발한 국내외 학술 활동을 통해 정보보호 학문 분야와 산업발전에 이바지했다 .2018년부터는 한국정보보호학회 암호연구회를 담당하며 국내 암호기술 발전 및 전문인력 양성에 힘쓰고 있다.
특히, 암호해독 분야의 핵심 기술인 부채널분석 기술 활성화를 위해 지난 2018년 부채널분석연구회를 설립하고 매년 부채널분석경진대회 및 워크숍 개최를 통해 부채널분석 기술 및 산업 활성화에 기여하고 있다.
