국가과학기술자문회의 기계소재전문위원 위촉 / 정구민(전자공학부) 교수

전자공학부 정구민 교수가 국가과학기술자문회의 기계소재전문위원회 위원으로 위촉되었다. 국가과학기술자문회의는 대통령 직속 과학기술 자문 기구로 국가과학기술 정책의 자문과 심의를 진행하는 기구이다. 기계소재전문위원회는 심의위원회 산하로, 기계소재 분야 연구개발 정책과 사업 심의를 담당한다.
정구민 교수는 현재 휴맥스㈜와 ㈜유비벨록스의 사외이사를 맡고 있으며, 자율주행 스타트업 오토노머스에이투지와 차량용 AI 스타트업 일렉트리의 자문교수를 맡고 있다. 지난 연구년 기간인 2019년 2학기와 2020년 1학기에는 현대자동차 생산기술센터 자문교수와 LG전자 CTO부문 기술고문으로 활동하기도 했다. 또한, 삼성전자, 네이버 등 국내 주요 업체 자문교수를 역임하는 등 학계와 업계를 연결하면서 산업 발전과 인재양성에 노력하고 있다.
