국제청소년산림대회 논문공모전 최우수상 수상 / 산림환경시스템학과 학생들

우리 대학 산림환경시스템학과(이다은, 이담비, 임세빈, 이고운/ 지도교수 이창배) 학생들이 지난 9월 15일(수) 열린 ‘제8회 국제청소년산림대회 논문공모전’에서 ‘우리나라 도서지역 목본식물 다양성 및 계통학적 군집구조에 대한 경관인자와 기후인자의 영향에 관한 연구’로 최우수상을 수상했다.
올해 8회를 맞는 이번 공모전은 국내 산림 분야 대학생 역량 개발 및 세계적 미래 인재를 발굴할 목적으로 대한민국 국적을 가진 만 22세 이하 대학 학부생(5인 이내 공동 연구 가능)을 대상으로 개최되었다.
제출된 논문은 1차 서면 심사, 2차 영어 논문 발표 심사를 거쳤으며, 최우수상 수상팀은 산림청장 표창과 소정의 상금이 수여됐다.
최우수상을 받은 학생 대표는 올해 11월 러시아에서 열리는 ‘제18회 국제 청소년 산림대회(International Junior Forest Contest)’에 한국 대표로 참가해 이번에 수상한 논문을 각각 발표할 예정이다.
국제 청소년 산림대회는 러시아 연방 산림청에서 주관하는 논문대회로서, 청소년들의 생태·산림 관련 인식을 제고하고 다양한 경험과 지식을 교류하는 장으로서의 역할을 수행해왔다.
