통일법제논문공모전 우수상 수상 / 김지은(일반대학원 법학과 박사과정) 학생

우리 대학 일반대학원 법학과 박사과정(통일·북한법전공. 지도교수 : 박정원)의 김지은씨(전 북한의사, 현 한의사)가 지난 10월 22일(금) 법무부(장관 박범계) 통일법제 논문공모전에서 우수상을 수상하였다.
이번에 진행된 법무부 통일법제 제3회 논문공모전은 통일법제에 대한 관심을 환기시키고 신진 연구 인력을 발굴하려는 취지로 진행되었다.
해당 논문명은 '북한의 비상방역법 제정을 통해 본 북한 사회의 코로나19 대응과 향후 협력방안'이며, 논문은 김수연 서울대 보건환경연구소 책임연구원과 공동으로 작성됐다.
김지은씨는 "북한에 전염병예방법은 있었지만 '비상방역법'이라는 건 없던 개념"이라며 "이 북한의 ‘비상방역법’에 대한 논문이 대한민국에서는 최초의 연구인 만큼 의미가 크다"고 전했다.
우수상은 상장과 소정의 상금과 함께 법무부가 발간하는 통일법제 계간 학술지 '통일과 법률'에 게재되며, 수상자에게는 법무부가 주최하는 학술대회 등에 초청 받아 전문성 발휘할 수 있는 특전도 제공된다.
