국민대, ‘제19회 임베디드 소프트웨어 경진대회’ 최우수상 수상 / 소프트웨어학부, 자동차IT융합학과 학생들

국민대학교(총장 임홍재)는 ‘제19회 임베디드 소프트웨어 경진대회’에서 국민대 학생들이 지능형 휴머노이드 부문에서 최우수상을 수상했다고 31일 밝혔다.
이번 대회는 지난 4월부터 11월까지 약 7개월간 진행됐다. 총상금은 2160만원으로, 시상식은 지난 21일 서울시 강남구에 위치한 삼정호텔에서 개최됐다.
최우수상의 영예를 거머쥔 국민대 소프트웨어학부와 자동차IT융합학과 학생들은 코로나19 사태에 대응하기 위한 목적으로 영상처리 및 로봇의 움직임 제어와 관련된 소프트웨어를 개발해 이족 보행 로봇에 적용시켰다. 박정환(소프트웨어학부) 군은 “사회적으로 어려움을 겪는 부분을 SW기술을 통해 해결하는 방안을 모색하고 구현하는 것을 목표로 했다”며 “그 결과, 최우수상을 수상해 기쁘다”고 했다.
