2022 한국분자세포생물학회 제51회 초파리분과 정기학술대회 우수논문 발표상/ Bhanu Shreshta (일반대학원 바이오발효융합학과 박사 19)학생

지난 7월 4일과 5일 양일간 열린 한국분자세포생물학회 분과모임인 제51회 한국초파리학회 정기 학술대회에서 국민대학교 바이오발효융합학과 바누 스레스타 (바이오발효융합학과 박사과정 19학번, 지도교수 이영석) 학생이 우수포스터 발표상을 수상하였다.
일년에 한 번 개최되는 본 정기학술대회는 국내외 초파리 모델 동물을 연구하는 전문가들이 참석하였으며 발생학에서 신경과학에 이르는 분자유전학 연구에 대한 최근 연구동향을 발표하고 토의하는 전문학회이다.
바누 스레스타 학생은 2019년 2학기에 국민대학교에 박사과정으로 입학하여 총 5편의 제1저자 논문과 1편의 공저자 논문을 출판완료하였다. 이번에 발표한 내용은 구연산, 젖산, 글리콜산의 수용체 연구를 통해 얻은 결과를 발표함으로써 신맛 중에서도 “좋아하는 신맛”에 대한 연구로 학계에서 주목받게 되었다.
