한국동서철학회 저술상 수상 / 박규철(교양대학) 교수

우리 대학 교양대학 박규철 교수(후마니타스 리더십 연구소장)가 서양 고대 회의주의의 근원적 특성 및 중세와 근대철학에서의 전개 양상을 학술적으로 규명한 연구서인 <의심하는 인간>(2022)으로 2022년 한국동서철학회 저술상 수상자로 선정되었다.
한국동서철학회는 2022년 12월 10일 충남대학교 문원강당에서 개최된 ‘2022년 한국동서철학회 추계학술대회-웰다잉(well-dying)에 대한 철학적 탐구’에서 박규철 교수를 올해의 저술상 수상자로 선정하고 상장과 상패 그리고 상금을 수여하였다. 수상 후, 박 교수는 받은 상금 전액을 학회 발전기금으로 기부하기도 하였다.
한국동서철학회 저술상 심사위원회는 이 저작이 “서양 고대 회의주의의 근원적 특성 및 중세와 근대철학에서의 전개 양상을 학술적으로 규명하였으며, 나아가 회의주의를 21세기 현대인에게 필요한 삶의 기술로 새롭게 조명한 연구”로 평가하였다.
이번 수상으로, 박 교수는 대한철학회 운제학술상 수상(11월 12일)에 이어 두 번째 저술상을 수상하게 되었다.
