제24회 사단법인 대한무용학회 최우수논문상 수상 / 이성희(무용전공) 겸임교수

우리 대학 무용전공 이성희 겸임교수가 발표한 논문 ‘Direction of dance education for the growth of whole person in children : Exploration from an embodiment approach(아이들의 전인적 성장을 위한 무용교육의 방향 : 체화적 접근 탐색)’이 ‘제24회 사단법인 대한무용학회 최우수논문’으로 선정되었다.
(사)대한무용학회(회장 문영)는 무용학계에서 오랜 역사와 권위를 인정받는 학술단체이며, 2022년 10월 미국 컬럼비아대학교 안홀드연구소와 공동으로 국제심포지엄을 개최한 바 있다. 이성희 겸임교수는 발제 및 토론자로 참여하였으며, 무용교육이 이루어지는 한국의 제도적·정책적 토대를 분석하고, 무용교육의 질적 향상과 ‘전인교육’이라는 목적 달성을 위한 실천방법의 하나로 체화학습(embodied learning) 사례를 소개하였다.
수상소감에서 연구자로서의 전문성을 강화하고, 무용뿐만 아니라 다양한 분야로 영역을 확장하는 다양한 학술연구 계획을 밝혔다. 또한 국민대학교 무용학전공 동문으로 구성된 학술단체 Arts Communication Center(ACC)에 상금 전액을 연구지원비로 기부하였다.
