우리 대학 인공지능학부 이재구 교수가 '챗GPT' 열풍, AI 혁명과 미래전망, 국민생활과학기술포럼 발제 연사로 참여했다.
이재구 교수는 “2016년 알파고는 새로운 인공지능 시대의 도래했음을 알렸지만, 여전히 우리의 삶과는 거리가 있었다. 하지만, 2023년 챗GPT는 우리가 직접 물어보고 경험할 수 있는 우리의 삶 안으로 들어온 인공지능의 시대를 촉발시켰다”라고 밝히면서도 “여전히 챗 GPT는 많은 문제와 한계점들이 존재하지만, 인공지능이 인간처럼 언어의 문맥을 이해할 수 있다는 가능성을 증명했다는 점에서 우리의 삶은 점차 인공지능과 밀접해질 것이라 확신하기 때문에 따라서, 앞으로 교육, 문화, 산업 모든 분야에서 챗GPT가 쏘아올린 작은 공이 많은 변화들을 이끌어 낼것이며, 우리는 그 변화에 능동적으로 대응해야한다”고 강조했다.
