2023 한국미생물ㆍ생명공학회 국제학술대회 및 정기학술대회 학술분과 학생상 우수상(생물촉매 부분) 수상/전강인(일반대학원 바이오발효융합학과 박사 17)학생

지난 6월 21일에 개최된 “2023 한국미생물ㆍ생명공학회 국제학술대회 및 정기학술대회”에서 국민대학교 바이오발효융합학과 전강인 (바이오발효융합학과 박사 17학번, 지도교수:서주현) 학생이 2023년 한국미생물ㆍ생명공학회 창립 50주년 기념 학술분과 생물촉매 부분에서 우수상을 수상하였다.
한국미생물ㆍ생명공학회는 응용미생물 또는 산업미생물에 관련된 학회의 필요성에 의하여 1973년에 한국산업미생물학회로 창립되어 지난 50여 년 동안 끊임 없이 발전하여 왔으며, 21세기 생물공학 분야의 새로운 물결을 포괄하고 미래의 학회비전을 제시하기 위하여 현재 한국미생물ㆍ생명공학회로 명칭을 변경하였다.
현재도 창립당시 목적을 그대로 유지하면서 미생물(공)학, 생명공학 및 관련 융합분야에 관한 이론과 기술을 연구 발전시켜 이를 보급하며, 이들의 학술과 기술의 진흥으로 산학협동 및 국민생활의 과학화에 이바지하기 위한 장으로서, 회원들의 활동의 장으로 더욱 발전하고 있다. 또한 학술지로 한국미생물ㆍ생명공학회지, Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology, 생물산업등의 학술지를 매년 수회 발간한다.
창립 50주년을 맞아 이번 학회에서 각 학술분과에서 우수한 학생들을 선정하여 수상을 하였으며 전강인 학생은 생물촉매 부분에서 우수상을 수상 하였다.
