2023 청주공예비엔날레 국제공예공모전 입선 수상 / 금속공예학과 동문들

2023 청주공예비엔날레에서 우리 대학 금속공예학과 동문들 다수가 입선했다. 1999년 시작되어 올해로 13회째를 맞는 청주공예비엔날레의 가장 중요한 행사인 국제공예공모전에는 총 54개국에서 862명이 출품하는 높은 경쟁률을 보였으며, 1차 온라인 심사 및 2차 실물심사를 거쳐 총 103명의 수상자가 선정되었다.
이번 국제공예공모전은 총상금 1억4,300만원이라는 역대급 규모로 치러졌으며, 공예 작품공모와 공예 도시랩 공모 두 분야로 시상이 진행되었다.
우리 대학에서는 금속공예학과 동문 김두봉(학부 13', 대학원 19'), 김지현(대학원 17‘), 신선이(대학원 18'), 이남경(디자인대학원 11'), 이준희(대학원 16'), 정재희(대학원 17'), 최연철(대학원 16'), 홍지안(대학원 18') 8명이 입선을 차지하였고, 본전시에는 금속공예학과 교수 이승열이 전시그룹 TM으로 초대되어 ‘Grafted Craft: 접붙이기’ 주제로 작품을 출품하였다. 수상작은 청주시 문화제조창 3층 청주공예비엔날레 전시장에서 10월 15일까지 만나볼 수 있다.
