2023 전국대학생 UAM올림피아드 장려상/ 기계공학부 드론동아리 '크론’

국민대 기계공학부 학생들의 드론동아리인 크론(Krone)의 UAM팀[COMMA(,)_Block A]이, 2023 전국대학생 UAM 올림피아드 대회에서 장려상(한국교통안전공단 이사장상)을 수상하였다.
2023년 11월2일 국토교통부, 교통안전공단 주최 UAM 올림피아드가 한서대학교 태안비행장 일대에서 개최되었다. 기체창작부문에서 UAM 기체 제작/설계 비행으로 장려상(정상렬,구서현,김명준,김태윤,류유화,박명섭,안지훈,윤순영,이동헌,임혜진,조건희)을 수상하였다. 크론동아리 학생들은 2022년 동대회에서 기체창작부문 베스트혁신상을 수상하였었다.
국민대 기계공학부에서는 고정익과 회전익 항공기의 설계·제작에 관심 있는 학생들끼리 모여, 지도교수(기계공학부 임시형, 미래모빌리티 윤용현 교수)의 지도로 활동하고 있다.
