미국 NASA휴스턴 화성탐사 우주인 특별연구방문 / 데이비드 윌리엄 김(교양대학) 교수

오스트레일리아 시드니대학교에서 역사학를 전공하고 영국 왕립역사학회(The Royal Historical Society, UK) 석학회원으로 활동하고 있는 교양대학 데이비드 윌리엄 김교수가 우주과학과 인문융합분야 한국연구재단 장기프로젝트의 일환 (2022-2025)으로 미항공우주국의 화성유인탐사에서 미제로 남아있는 Human Research Programs (HRP)에 관하여Innovative Field Research를 실행하고자 외국인(Non-American)으로는 이례적으로 미국 NASA의 공식초청을 받아 휴스톤의 Johnson Space Center를 2월중순에 방문 연구했다.
김 교수는 NASA 우주인선발 프로그램의 총괄본부장 (David B. Bauman, Director of the Human Research Program)과의 소통을 통해 인간연구의 중요성을 함께 공감하는 시간을 가졌다.
