서울시 '모아주택·모아타운 프로젝트'에서 우수상 수상 / 건축대학 학생들

국민대학교 건축대학 3,4학년 재학생 5개팀이 정릉의 지역성을 담고 거주자의 행복한 삶을 배경으로 한 공동주거 건축을 만드는 작업을 서울시 대학협력 모아주택 모아타운 프로젝트를 통해 한학기 동안 진행했다.
그 결과, 서울시가 주최한 '2024년 대학협력 모아주택·모아타운 프로젝트' 성과 공유회에서 국민대학교 건축대학 박현우, 이태형, 한혜원 학생팀(지도교수 모성범)이 우수상을 수상하였다.
‘모아타운’은 대규모 재개발이 어려운 10만㎡ 이내 노후 저층 주거지들을 모아 하나로 정비하는 사업이다.
서울시는 2023년 3월 처음으로 대학(원)과 수업을 연계해 새로운 사업 발전 모델과 혁신적인 디자인 아이디어를 발굴하는 이 프로젝트를 시작했으며, 올해에도 국민대학교를 포함한 12개 대학과 모아타운을 주제로 한 수업과 연계한 프로젝트를 진행했다.
성과공유회 다음날부터 개최되는 '작품 전시회'에서 각 대학은 할당된 부스를 통해 모아타운 아이디어를 구현한 모형(패널), 프로젝트 영상 및 관람 소감 작성 등으로 전시할 예정이며, 7월 9일부터 8월 18일까지 서울도시건축전시관에서 관람할 수 있다.
