2024 파리올림픽 사브르 여자 단체전 은메달 수상 / 윤지수(스포츠산업대학원 스포츠산업학과 17) 동문

우리 대학 스포츠산업대학원 윤지수(스포츠산업학과 17)동문이 지난 8월 4일(일) 열린 2024 파리 올림픽 펜싱 여자 사브르 단체전에서 사상 첫 은메달을 획득했다. 윤지수 동문을 포함한 전하영, 최세빈, 전은혜 선수로 구성된 여자 사브르 대표팀은 우크라이나에 42-45로 아쉽게 패했지만, 2020 도쿄 올림픽에서의 동메달을 넘어선 역대 최고 성적을 냈다.
윤지수 동문은 여자 사브르 단체전에서 이번 올림픽과 2020년 올림픽, 두 대회 모두 출전한 유일한 선수이기도 하다.
고등학교 3학년인 2011년 국가대표로 발탁된 이래, 2012년 아시아펜싱선수권대회 여자 사브르 개인전 금메달, 2014년 인천 아시안 게임 펜싱 여자 사브르 단체전 금메달, 2018년 자카르타-팔렘방 아시안 게임 여자 사브르 단체전 금메달, 2022년 항저우 아시안게임 여자 스브르 개인전 금메달 등 지속적으로 우수한 성과를 거둬왔다.
윤지수의 동문의 아버지는, 선수 시절 KBO리그 역대 최다 완투(100경기), 완투승(75승)을 거둔 전설의 투수로 잘 알려진 윤학길 전 롯데 자이언트코치이다.
