제 9회 수중로봇페스티벌 시니어 부문 수상 / 로봇제어연구실 및 기계공학부 학생들

우리 대학 로봇제어연구실과 기계공학부 재학생으로 구성된 팀 KMU_ROV(김성현, 성윤석, 노도훈, 이승훈, 이동헌, 안지한, 김태민 학생)가 지난 8월 25일(일) 히로시마공대와 국제 협력하여 2024년 일본에서 열린 제 9회 수중로봇페스티벌 시니어 부문에서 1등을 차지하는 쾌거를 이루었다. 이번 대회 준비는 국민대 LINC 3.0 사업의 지원을 받아 추진됐다.
KMU_ROV는 최고점으로 예선을 통과한 후, 준결승과 결승에서 모두 우승하며 최종 1위를 기록하였다. 이번 성과는 국민대학교 기계공학과 조백규 교수의 지도와 로봇제어연구실의 지원 아래, 금년 1월부터 시작된 팀의 끊임없는 노력과 열정이 결실을 맺은 결과로, 그 의미가 크다.
이번 대회에서 KMU_ROV팀은 탁월한 실력과 창의적인 접근으로 수중 드론 기술을 선보였으며, 그 결과 상금 10만 엔을 획득하는 영광을 안았다. 11월에 열리는 오키나와 수중 드론 대회에도 도전할 계획이다.
