정인욱학술장학재단 산림 Pioneer 육성 장학생 선정 / 홍승현(일반대학원 산림환경시스템학과 석사과정 23) 학생

우리 대학 일반대학원 산림환경시스템학과 엔즈랩(Eco Network & Dynamic Science Lab, 지도교수 강완모)의 석사과정 홍승현 학생이 정인욱학술장학재단의 2024년 산림 Pioneer 육성 장학생 3기에 선정되었다.
정인욱학술장학재단의 지원과 한국산림과학회 주관으로 진행된 이번 3기 장학생 선발에서는 총 39명의 대학원생이 신청한 가운데 서류전형과 발표심사를 거쳐 최종 5명이 선발되었다.
3기 장학생으로 선발된 홍승현 학생은 LULUCF (Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry) 산림분야 온실가스 인벤토리 산정 방법론 고도화에 대한 연구주제 및 계획을 바탕으로 향후 2년간 총 2,400만원의 장학금을 지원받아 연구를 진행할 예정이다.
홍승현 석사과정생은 “엔즈랩에서의 다양한 연구경험 덕분에 산림분야 최대 장학사업에 선정될 수 있었고, 선발되기까지 많은 도움을 주신 교수님과 연구실 인원들께 감사의 말을 전한다.”는 소감과 함께 “이번 장학사업을 발판으로 산림분야 실질기술 발전에 기여하고, 국제적 전문성을 갖춘 연구자로 성장하겠다.”라고 전했다.
