제1회 정신영 저널리즘 학술상 수상 / 손영준(미디어전공) 교수

우리 대학 미디어전공 손영준 교수가 제1회 정신영 저널리즘 학술상을 수상했다.
정신영 저널리즘 학술상은 저널리즘 연구 환경이 갈수록 어려워지는 상황에서도 연구에 매진하는 학자들을 격려하자는 취지로, 올해부터 저널리즘 연구에 탁월한 성과를 올린 학자와 언론인을 매년 선정하겠다는 계획이다. 관훈클럽 초기 회원으로 베를린 특파원과 박사 학위 과정을 병행하던 중 독일에서 요절한 언론인 정신영(1931∼1962)의 유지를 기리자는 의미도 있다.
손 교수는 저서인 ‘언론 자유와 정치철학’으로 수상했으며, 시상식은 지난 9월 10일(화) 기금 설립 47주년 기념식을 겸해 열렸다.
