SCIE 저널 JAABE에 논문 게재 / 황중산(테크노디자인전문대학원 공간∙문화디자인학과 박사과정 22) 학생

우리 대학 테크노디자인전문대학원 공간∙문화디자인학과 공간∙환경랩 박사 과정 황중산(Zhongshan Huang) 학생(지도교수 이선정)이 SCIE 저널 JAABE(Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering)에 논문 Combining Human Perception and Street Accessibility to Provide Information for Better Street Construction: A Case Study of Chengdu City, China를 게재하였다.
JAABE의 접수 분야는 Architectural History and Theory, Architectural Planning and Design, Building Structures and Materials, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning and Design의 여섯 분야이며, 일본건축학회, 대한건축학회 및 중국건축학회의 공동 협약에 의해 발간되고 있다.
객관적 데이터를 다루는데 익숙했던 공학석사 출신의 황중산 학생이 디자인학 박사 과정에서 더욱 발전적인 연구를 할 수 있는 방법에 대해 고민했다는 이 교수는 양적 데이터 분석에 더해 사람들의 경험, 생각, 감정, 사회적 맥락 등을 깊이 이해하는 데 필요한 질적 연구 방식을 결합하는 혼합 연구로 신뢰성과 타당성을 보강할 수 있다는 점을 강조했다고 전했다.
황중산 학생은 "박사 학위 논문 또한 데이터를 수집하고 분석해 가설을 검증하는 연구 방식에서 나아가 관찰이나 설문 등의 질적 연구 방법을 더한 혼합 연구 방식으로 준비하려 한다. 학위 논문 과정도 기대된다"고 말했다.
