한국연구재단 석사과정생 연구장려금 지원사업 선정 / 홍승현(일반대학원 산림환경시스템학과 석사과정 23) 학생

우리 대학 일반대학원 산림환경시스템학과 엔즈랩(Eco Network & Dynamic Science Lab, 지도교수 강완모)의 석사과정생 홍승현 학생이 한국연구재단의 2024년도 2차 석사과정생 연구장려금 지원사업에 최종 선정됐다.
홍승현 학생의 연구 제목은 ‘국내 산림생태계 탄소저장량 및 온실가스 흡수량 산정 고도화를 위한 과정기반 모형 활용성 평가(A Study to Evaluate the Utilization of Process-based Models to Improve Carbon Storage and Flux Assessment in Domestic Forest Ecosystems)’다.
홍승현 학생은 이 연구에서 국외 산림 물질순환 모델의 국내 활용 가능성을 평가하고 국내 산림 환경에 맞게 최적화하여 국가 온실가스 인벤토리 산정 방법론을 고도화하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이번 지원사업을 통해 진행될 홍승현 학생의 연구는 국내 산림의 탄소 흡수력 증진을 위한 연구개발과 정책 기반 마련에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
