『UX·UI디자인』 교과서 및 『디자인의 이해』 도서발간 / 연명흠(공업디자인학과) 교수

우리 대학 공업디자인학과 연명흠 교수는 서울대학교 정의철 교수, 한양대학교 정의태 교수와 공동집필한 『UX·UI디자인』 교과서
디자인 분야 전문출판사인 안그라픽스에서 발간한 이 책은 UX디자인과 UI디자인의 개념부터 실무에 이르는 모든 영역을 체계적으로 다룬 책으로서, UXUI디자인 분야의 학생과 직장인 모두에게 교과서 역할을 할 수 있도록 집필되었다.
저자 3인은 'UX·UI디자인: 입문부터 심화까지'라는 KMOOC 묶음강좌를 2022년에 개설한 바 있으며, 이번 교재는 그 연장선에서 진행되었다.
또한 연 교수는 우리 대학의 핵심교양 수업의 하나인 『디자인의 이해』의 교재 2025년 최신판을 출간하기도 했다. 이번에 출판된 <디자인의 이해>는 교양대학의 윤나리 교수와 더불어 가톨릭대학교의 이민 교수, 홍익대학교 정혜욱 교수, 서울과학기술대학교 김상규 교수가 공동집필하였으며, 사회과학교재 전문출판사인 박영사가 발간하여, 교내 출판물의 울타리를 너머서고자 하였다.
5년 만에 개정된 이번 교재에는 컬러 사진이 많이 실려 디자인사의 작품에 대한 이해와 흥미를 높일 수 있게 하였으며, 디자인을 둘러싼 최신의 논점을 다루고 있다.
