외국인 유학생 대상 미술 치료 프로그램 진행 / 디자인대학원 학생들

우리 대학 디자인대학원 미술치료 전공의 재학생 및 졸업생이 지난 5월 24일(토) 명원박물관에서 [치유도 예술로] 사업과 연계하여 이주를 경험한 청년과 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 미술치료 프로그램 [이주의 풍경(Landscape of migration)]을 진행하였다.
[치유도 예술로] 사업은 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국문화예술교육진흥원이 주관하는 2025 문화예술치유 지원사업의 일환으로, 국민참여 예술치유 워크숍이다.
[이주의 풍경(Landscape of migration)]에 참여한 국민대학교 미술치료 전공 대학원생(김희수, 안영은, 최세홍)은 “프로그램에 참여한 분들의 눈빛과 환호를 잊지 못하겠다”고 말하며 “특히 국민대 외국인유학생들과 치유적 경험을 함께 할 수 있어 더욱 뜻깊었다”라고 말했다.
또한 국민대 외국인 유학생 록산(필리핀, 건축학과 재학)은 ‘한국으로 유학 오면서 느낀 정체성의 혼란에서 마음의 위안이 되는 프로그램에 참여할 수 있어 감사하다며. 이러한 기회가 많아졌으면 좋겠다“고 소감을 밝혔다.
이에 정진원 미술치료 주임교수는 “학생들이 정부사업에 참여하면서 다양한 임상현장을 경험하고, 예술의 치유성을 깊이 배우며 실천할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원할 것”이라 밝히며, 미술치료 전공 재학생 및 졸업생들의 전문적 현장경험과 봉사정신을 격려했다. 이와 더불어 미술치료 전공은 향후 재학생의 “전환적 경험으로써의 미술치료 프로그램을 확대하고 전공의 대학원생들의 현장 중심 실천교육과 연구를 함께할 수 있도록 아낌없이 지원할 것”이라고 전했다.
