국회 강원보좌진협의회(이하 강보협) 신임 회장에 홍천출신 이충우(43·사진) 보좌관(국회 김기선 국회의원실)이 선출됐다.
강보협에 따르면 27일 오후 7시 서울 여의도에서 개최되는 강보협 신년 인사회 및 회장 이·취임식에서 이 보좌관이 신임 회장으로 취임한다.
이 회장은 “도출신 100여 명의 여야 보좌진으로 구성된 강보협 회원 간 화합과 친목을 도모하고 여·야, 영동·영서 구분없이 고향발전을 위해 힘을 보태겠다”고 말했다.
이 회장은 강원대 사대부고와 한림대 정치외교학과를 졸업했다. 국민대 정치대학원 정치학 석사.
국회 한국의회발전연구회 연수과정을 수료(제14기)한 뒤 15대 국회 이재창 의원 정책비서, 16대 국회 이상희·유한열 의원 보좌관, 18대 국회 최경희 의원 보좌관으로 활동했다. 또 2006∼2010년 강원도지사 정무비서관을 지냈다.
