국민대 의상학과 동문 졸업패션쇼 멘토 변신

후배 디자이너 육성을 위해 같은 대학 출신 현직 패션업계 선배들이 지원사격에 나섰다. 6일 국민대는 자교 의상디자인학과 출신 디자이너들이 올해부터 학부 4학년 졸업패션쇼 작품들을 심사해 우수작을 시상키로 했다고 밝혔다.
지난달 27일 졸업패션쇼에 나온 41명의 학생, 120여 점의 작품이 대상이다. 이 중 5점의 작품이 이달 말 우수작으로 선정된다. 패션 디자인 전공 학생들에게 필수 코스인 졸업패션쇼를 활용해 우수한 인력을 발굴하자는 취지다. 패션업계 종사자들이 학부 졸업패션쇼 작품을 시상하는 것은 처음 있는 일이다.
상 제정을 위해 동문회장인 김경희 이니플래닝 대표(사진)가 금일봉을 쾌척했고, 동문회도 상금을 내놓기로 했다.
