[대학이 직접 꼽은 특성화학과 8]
대학들은 산업 수요에 걸맞은 우수 인재를 육성하기 위해 특성화학과를 내세운다. 장학 혜택 등 지원도 풍부해 인기가 높다. 각 대학이 꼽은 특성화학과를 살펴봤다.
국민대학교 기계공학부는 ▲기계시스템공학전공 ▲융합기계공학전공과 함께 신설하는 ▲에너지기계공학전공이 특성화학과다. 모두 교육부의 ‘수도권대학 특성화사업(CK-Ⅱ)’에 선정돼 1학년부터 전공 분야에 대한 스파이럴형 실험실습과 설계 교육이 진행된다.
기계시스템공학전공은 지능형 기계를 기반으로 설계 및 첨단제조시스템과 중공업, 항공우주, 플랜트 등에 필요한 실무형 인재를 양성한다. 융합기계공학전공은 삶의 질을 향상시키고 건강, 안전, 환경 등 사회필수적 주제를 해결하기 위한 교육을 제공한다. 이를 통해 나노(NT), 바이오(BT), 정보통신(IT), 인지과학(CS)을 포함하는 융합형 인재를 양성한다. 에너지기계공학전공 재학생은 고효율 발전 및 터보 시스템, 신재생에너지, 고효율 가전기기, 산업 에너지 설비, 친환경 자동차 산업에서 필요한 교육을 받고 에너지 특성화 인재로 성장한다.
