국민대 30일 '한반도미래연구원 개원 학술세미나'

국민대는 오는 30일 오후 2시부터 본부관 학술회의장에서 '한반도미래연구원 개원 학술세미나'를 개최한다.
국민대는 개교 70주년을 맞아 건학이념인 '독립운동 정신'을 '통일운동 정신'으로 계승하고 다가오는 통일 시대에 기여하기 위해 한반도미래연구원을 개원했다.'통일을 위한 국민대학교의 역할과 과제' 라는 주제로 개최되는 행사에는 홍용표 통일부장관, 정종욱 통일준비위원회 부위원장, 유호열 민주평화통일자문회의 수석부의장 등이 참석하며 남북한 전문가의 세미나 및 남북한 아리랑 연주 등으로 진행될 예정이다.
김주현 한반도미래연구원장은 "한반도미래연구원은 통일 과정에서 예상되는 여러 문제들과 통일 후의 당면과제를 사전에 준비하고 대응하기 위하여 통합적인 연구를 활성화할 계획"이라며 "통일 한국 건설의 핵심역할을 담당하는 연구기관으로 나아갈 것"이라고 밝혔다.
