국민대, 글로벌 진출 꿈꾸는 '예비 창업자' 찾아

국민대학교(총장 유지수)가 현지 네트워크를 가동하여 실리콘밸리까지 진출을 꿈꾸는 유망 스타트업을 발굴한다. 예비창업자 및 공고일 기준 3년 이내의 창업기업의 대표자라면 누구나 지원 가능하다. 접수마감은 5월 20일(금) 까지이다. 혁신적인 창업아이템을 보유한 스타트업 발굴하여 최대 7천 만 원까지 지원할 계획이다. 창업지원금은 아이디어의 사업화를 위한 시제품개발, 기술정보활동, 마케팅 자금으로 사용된다.
또한 대학이 보유한 지식자산·멘토·협업공간·기자재 등의 인프라 활용하여 창업자의 원활한 창업활동을 도울 계획이다. 스타트업은 아이디어의 상용화는 물론 투자유치와 글로벌 진출까지 성장 단계에 따라 준비된 국민대학교 창업성장지원 프로그램의 혜택을 받게 된다. 올해에는 고급기술과 전문지식을 갖춘 창업가 및 신산업창출·미래성장동력 분야, 해외특허 보유자를 우대하여 선발한다.
창업지원단장 이건상 교수는 “국민대에서는 우리나라의 미래 성장 동력을 선도할 수 있는 고급기술 아이템을 발굴하여 해외진출과 청년들의 일자리 창출에 기여할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
