열람실 ‘사석화’ 막기 위해 시간표 도입

국민대 법대 학생회는 1학기 기말고사 기간인 이달부터 법학관 열람실에 ‘공백시간표’를 도입했다. 열람실 ‘사석화’를 막기 위해서다. ‘사석화’는 학생들이 공유하는 열람실 좌석을 마치 개인 좌석인 것처럼 장기간 짐을 두고 비우는 행태를 꼬집는 말이다.
시간표 도입 이후, 학생들은 자리를 비울 때마다 시간표에 자신의 이름과 자리를 비우는 시간을 써넣는다. 공백시간이 지난 뒤에도 자리가 비어 있으면 학생회가 짐을 치운다. 평소 열람실을 애용하는 법대생 김대중(20)씨는 “자리가 없어서 친구들한테 자리가 있는지 물어보거나 아예 이용하지 못할 때도 많았는데 공백시간표를 도입한 뒤부터는 좌석 구하기가 쉬워졌다”고 말했다.
