1월15일부터 방콕에서 가장 오래된 실파콘 대학에서
지구온난화 포스터 전시회를 열고 있습니다.
대학 관계자들의 전폭적인 지원과 협력에 놀라고 있습니다.
학생들도 순수하면서도 적극적입니다.
오히려 많은 것을 배우는 자리가 되고 있습니다.
학생들이 삼성핸드폰, 한국드라마 등
화려하고 소비적인 겉 모습을 동경하고 있기에
우리의 부정적인 실상을 전하며
진정 목표로 할 것이 무엇인가에 대해서
장시간 이야기를 나누었습니다.
과용, 기이함의 추구를 자제하고
소박과 겸손, 모든 사물과의 일체감을
마음의 토대로 삼아야한다고
제 스스로가 염원하는 바를 전했습니다.
녹색 디자이너가 되어 온난화를 줄일 수 있는
작은 무엇이라도 만들내자고 호소했습니다.
침울한 분위기가 감돌았지만
학생들의 눈에 이슬이 맺히는 것을 보았습니다.
